Born Daniel Nicolas Valentine Spies, on February 15, 2000, Daniel discovered his passion for storytelling and performance at a young age. His early career saw him stepping into the world of modeling, working with brands like FC Bayern München, and landing roles in commercials. His first on-screen experiences came in 2008, playing a dead body in 'Kommissarin Lucas' and a runaway son in 'Zwei Ärzte sind einer zu Viel' - a small but formative start that sparked a lifelong love for acting.
Beyond acting, Daniel’s artistic expression extended to music. He formed the band Valnic, which performed on renowned stages in and around Munich from 2010 to 2014. His deep connection to the performing arts led him to Berlin in 2019, where he studied and graduated in Professional Musicianship (Bachelor of Arts) at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM). While refining his musical identity under the name Dan Valnic, he also explored performance arts through acting classes, rediscovering his deep-seated passion for the craft.
In 2024, Daniel immersed himself in camera acting studies at Berlin’s Catalyst Institute, refining his on-screen presence. That same year, he starred in A Few (Short Film 2024) and Modern Eros (Short Film 2024), along with a theater interpretation of Malcolm & Marie. These experiences solidified his commitment to acting, marking a full-circle moment in his artistic journey.
Now, in 2025, Daniel embarks on a new chapter. His new music, soon to be published under the name BLOOMSTRE, will introduce audiences to his evolving sonic identity, while his acting career moves forward under his full name, Daniel Valentine. With a deep love for performance—both in sound and on screen—he is ready to bring authentic stories to life, wherever the stage or camera may take him.
